001. DIY Flower Sunglasses

So this is a super easy project I thought I'd give a try. I've been so in love with those flower embellished Dolce & Gabbana glasses. They are so feminine and unique! Here are what the Dolce and Gabbana sun glasses look like:
The supplies are simple, all you need is a pair of sunglasses, a glue gun, and some flower embellishments. I spent a long time looking for the perfect little roses, but ended up just grabbing these little flowers from the scrap booking section at Joann Fabrics. They're not quite as sophisticated, but they're cute and summery. I got the sunglasses awhile ago for just a few dollars at Forever 21 and never ended up wearing them, so they were perfect for the project!
Step One: Practice arranging your flowers how you will want them in the corners of the glasses. Do not glue them down. Overlap the flowers to create a more three-dimensional look.

Step Two: If the flowers have any adhesive on the back, remove it so that they have a flat, clean surface. Glue them on one by one using a hot glue gun.

Step Three: After the flowers have dried, use a tweezers to remove any access glue that might have spilled over or that is left hanging from the flowers.

It's as simple as that... You are finished! The whole project cost less than $10 and only took about fifteen minutes. I'm very happy with the result!
